Lesson 1: Creating 3 bowls
We’ll begin by creating the base of the candle holder using the pinch pot technique.

Lesson 2: Making the base
In this lesson, we’ll create the base using the slab technique in pottery. Then, we’ll attach the bowls to complete the full base, preparing it for the next steps.

Lesson 3: Attaching the bowls
We’ll attach the bowls to the base created in the previous lesson. Then, we’ll refine and strengthen the connections to ensure a secure and polished foundation.

Lesson 4: Secure attachments
In this lesson, we’ll ensure strong, secure attachments between the different parts of the base.

Lesson 5: Making the top parts
we’ll create the top sections of the candle holder using the slab technique.

Lesson 6: Creating texture
Now that the top sections are in place and the attachments are refined, it’s time to create texture on your piece.

No prior experience is required! Our courses are designed for beginners and focus on making pottery accessible and enjoyable. You’ll learn step-by-step techniques that are easy to follow, regardless of your skill level.

We will let you know in each course what you need to start and create these pieces. But in general, you will need air-dry clay, basic pottery tools (such as a rolling pin, knife, and smoothing tools), and optional items for decorating, like acrylic paints. You'll also need access to the internet to follow along with the course videos.
